803 North Shore Sabre Squadron
Flying Familiarization Sign Up
803 has tentatively been giving an opportunity for 45 of our cadets to attend a Power Flight Familiarization activity this Saturday November 8th. This is an activity where cadets will be able to experience flying in a small 4-seater plane.
Details of the activity:
Dress in weather appropriate civilian clothing (sweater, jacket, warm pants, rain gear if needed, etc). No uniforms are to be worn.
Your cadet must bring a lunch and a reusable water bottle. There will be no access to a fridge or microwave. There is no opportunity to buy food during the activity.
The annual validation form must be completed for your cadet to be allowed to participate. If you are a first-year cadet, this does not apply to you.
The bus will depart from the school at 7:45am sharp, with a planned return of 3pm. The activity itself is taking place at 25 Chem. de l'Aéroport, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC J3B 4P8
I understand that quite a few cadets rely on the STM to travel to/from the squadron, so I ask that you keep this in mind when deciding whether or not you can attend.
Each cadet will have approximately 30 minutes of flight time during the day. Cadets are encouraged to bring homework, sports equipment, or board games to occupy their time for the remainder of the day.
We are only able to accept 45 cadets, and I will be using this order of priority to determine which cadets will attend:
Minimum of 4 Level 5 cadets to assist with supervision.
Cadets who have signed up for the Poppy Sales this year.
Cadets who have never been flying through the cadet program before.
All other cadets on a first-come-first-served basis.
The deadline to signup is Thursday November 6th at 5pm through the following form: November 8th Flying Famil Sign Up – Fill out form
The list of chosen cadets will be announced on Friday night.

2024/2025 Yearbook
Hello, everyone! Thank you all so much for your effort and perseverance throughout the year. What other way to remember your cadet year but with a lovely yearbook! Sadly, we couldn't get to making it on paper, and, on the behalf of the media club, we are sorry (maybe next year!). Sorry to the cadets that we didn't add their names too, it's a long process. I'd like to say thank you to all the members of media club who participated in making this year's yearbook and who took their time to make all of this happen. Without your guy's participation, this would've never happened. And we'd like to thank everyone who helped with taking pictures or with the names. Although this may seem small, it helped us enormously. I will never thank you guys enough.
Sincerely,
Sgt Moulic
